Grew up in Seattle, Washington, but attended Christendom College in Virginia. Currently studying at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary for the Diocese of Arlington, VA
Serving at Mass was always important to him, and since he came from a home schooling family, he had more opportunity to attend daily Mass during his High School years. Seeking to grow in his knowledge of the Catholic Faith, he attended Christendom College and studied theology. During that time, he grew in his appreciation for his Catholic Faith, and wanted to teach this faith to others. After graduation, he spent one year teaching Latin, before applying to the seminary.
Top three things about being a seminarian: Developing a relationship with Jesus through daily prayer and continuing to learn the teachings of His Church; Meeting and learning from exemplary priests and seminarians; the level of sports competition in pick-up games and intramural sports at the seminary.
He played infield for Mercer Island High School (near Seattle, WA). After that, he played one year at Christendom College in Front Royal, VA
