We are a unique baseball team consisting entirely of Catholic priests and seminarians who were one time High School and/or College baseball players. We play fast pitch hardball with Catholic High School varsity baseball teams in front of crowds of up to 1000 people at Minor league ball parks in the Washington DC area in an effort to raise awareness and interest in the great vocation to the Catholic Priesthood. We are in our sixth season and our record is 8-5-1. In each game we have a third inning stretch where we address the crowd on the topic of vocations. Check us out on Facebook too (TheDCPadres). Sunday April 24th VS Paul VI (Result: Padres lose 8-7).
Sunday May 8th VS St. Mary’s Ryken @ Blue Crabs Stadium. (Result: Padres win 14-10)
Sunday August 28th VS Bishop McNamara. Bay Sox play at 2pm and we will take the field after them around 5pm. Tickets are $8 for both kids and adults, and they are good for both the Baysox and Padres game. Call either Mary (240-565-1680), or Mike (410-336-6826) for information about getting hard tickets. You can also purchase them electronically on the Baysox website by going to the day of the event and where you purchase tickets plug the promo code DCPADRES into the box (there is a $1.50 service charge).
